Hello I am Rachael and I am mama to Raymond who is 4years and almost 4 months old. (aka RayRay, Super Ray or Weeman.)

I don't know if I belong here or not, but I was reading some other posts and I assume it's ok if we don't have an official diagnosis? I see some similarities between Ray and some of the other babies.We are waiting for the Neurology referral to be approved. Currently he is recieving therapies in Speech, Occupational, Physical, social/play, and mental health. He wears glasses, he is in the process of having braces made for his lower legs/feet. He goes to the headstart exceptional childrens program 5 days a week. He is such a sweet boy.

Yep! This is the place for you! No diagnosis required or we would be 100% out. I am Sarah, mommy to DS Danny (will be 5 on July 13th). We are inpatient getting a gtube placed right now. He is doing pretty well so far. He has GI, pulmonology, hematology, immunology, and allergy issues...

Rachel!! So glad you joined us! RayRay sounds like an awesome little boy. Can't wait to get to know you both better.

I'm Anna. Wife to Rick and Mamma to 4 beautiful girls. Meagan is 16, Abbey's 13, Kayla's 9 and Ellie is 6.
Ellie has multiple special needs. Spastic diplegic cerebral palsy, chronic lung disease, and severe anxiety with selective mutism.
It sounds like Ellie and Ray have a lot in common. She has braces for her legs (but she's in casts right now) and can't walk without help. She has speech, ocupational and physical therapy right now and did also recieve play/art/music based social emotional therapies as well but we don't need those on a regular basis any more. She wears glasses too.

I got a package today from my MIL who is a retired special ed teacher. She sent tons of things to help rays therapies along. I am super excited and promise to Post pics soon of him checking out his items. I have been trying to find things around the house to mimic things he does in therpay. Like for instance, to help with his pinch grasp we let him pick up boogle cubes and put them back in the tray, stack them etc. I also took an old wife beater and sewed a piece of an old sheer curtain to the back as a cape. he likes to be 'Super Ray' at therapy. Hes too darn cute! And yes i do plan on sticking around. Im far to lonely to hang by meself
