Good morning all!

No kids for me and DH yet, but our goddaughter turns 1 this month! She has Down Syndrome and they knew when she was born that she would most likely need heart surgery to correct 2 holes in her heart.

Well, *gulp* that one year has gone so fast! Today we should find out when her surgery is scheduled for. I feel so nervous and anxious already, I can't imagine how I will be as it gets closer.

Has anyone dealt with things like this? Any ways to ease your mind? I know that she will be in good hands and what happens will happen, but I just love her so much!
