Oh wow! I mean, I knew that inductions and such were crazy, but that is clearly out of hand! I should be shocked, but sadly, I'm not.

Maybe I just like to live in my nice little bubble but that pic DID shock me!

I really thought that induction was only used when needed...there are some instances when it can be a help to childbirth not just a convienance.

Guess I need to think twice about the way I thought things were

I imagine it's worse than this even. Go Google "Pit to distress". That's the first thing that comes to mind.

That is incredible.

I was just sitting here trying to think of someone I actually know IRL that was not induced recently. I really can't think of anyone.... seriously.

Just thought about it.... maybe that's why my work was so confused when I talked to them about when I should take my vacation/leave.... everyone else has a "date"

Wow. I almost wonder if I really needed to be induced or if it was just for convenience. Mine ended in c/s.

I'm still so sad about this info. I mean....what are they thinking?! Are women not taking childbirth educations classes anymore? Do they really think that NO woman can go into labor on their own? No wonder the public considers a 9# baby so huge. Because everyone is having tiny babies because they're induced too soon! I mean, really....do OB's not realize what they're doing to women as a whole?!

It's disgusting! No one is pregnant forever, labor is inevitable so just butt out and let it happen!
