Excellent!! I think it will take a while for OBs to shift their way of thinking, but to have ACOG putting error our there is a huge step As a side note, I always get a chuckle out of the phrase "performing a VBAC". Performing? It gets my hackles up even more than saying that a OB "delivered" a baby; like s/he did the work while the mom is just some passive participant. Okay, rant over.

Well while their statement is on the right track. It gives those of us with 2 previous cesareans or more, little hope.

Did I read that right? where they said if you've had 2 cesareans and haven't had a vaginal birth, you shouldn't have the oppertunity for a "trial of labor"?

Hmm, I have no idea. I'm not registered to read the articles, and so all I read is the link I posted. I don't recall it saying anything about VBAMC's.

Interesting, and yes, a start, but far from enough to make real change IMO.
