I was interested to know if anyone here had contacted an ICAN representative to talk with the L&D dept at hospital that says they don't allow vbac's? I contacted the hospital my dr delivers at about 3 months ago about VBAC and they said they did not allow them. I called them again today because of the recent changes in some of the hospitals policies showing more support for vbac's. I spoke with a very nice nurse that told me they were just discussing vbac's so she told me she can't give me definate answer one way or another so she told me to contact my dr again. Anyway, i just wondered if anyone has got anywhere with having a ICAN rep call the hospital?
I've never done so. I never really even thought of it. But, I can see where it could be a good thing. Them being not emotional and personally invested in the conversation. I'd say try it and see what happens.
That's pretty cool that the hospital is talking about it. I hope they come to the right conclusion.
