So I know how I always talk about how conservative my OB is and how suprised his staff and the hospital was when he let me "try" (and have!) a VABC with my DS back in 2008. But I love him!
I had my mothly appointment on Thursday and the 1st thing my OB says when he walks into the room is "Did you know that the ABOG (might be the wrong letters but you ladies know what I mean!) just release a statement that more women should be given the oppertunity to try for a VBAC. Guess you are on the right track." and gave me a little smile!
That just made me so happy to hear!!! He never fought me on my VBAC with DS#1...did mention a few time while I labored that it was looking more and more like a c/s might be the way to go...but he always let me "try" just a little longer since baby and I were good. And he was completely supportive when I brought up another VBAC with this baby. But truth be told not many of his patients are give the option of VBACs. But sounds like this may change!
