Well, I'm making progress... so that's good! Last week I was closed and 50% effaced, this week I'm a fingertip, 75% effaced, and baby is definitely head down and -2 station. He said that explains the pelvic pressure/pain I've been having. So I guess all of these contractions are doing something...
Everything else was textbook... which is awesome. And let me just say, that I love my doctor! He is so open to everything I've suggested, and down with my 3 page birth plan!! He is very supportive of my plan to have a NCB & VBAC! And he sat and talked to me FOREVER today in depth about what if's... and everything in my birth plan... it was awesome. I'm just afraid that it won't be him to deliver me... there are 7 doctors in this practice, I've just finished rotating through them. I like most of them, but not all...
Anyhow... he said, we very well may see you next week... but then again, I wouldn't be surprised if you did go into labor before then. But then at the same time we talked about contingency plans for if I got closed to my due date with little to no more progression.... (b/c I can't be chemically induced) So I know we still really have no idea when this baby will make his entrance, but it's good to know that my body is doing something, it makes me feel like I'm further away from the C-Section I soooo want to avoid!
Thanks for reading!

That's great that things are starting to happen! Even though I've heard a million times how dilating and thinning really doesn't tell you how soon you will go into labor... I still can't help but to get excited. Good luck and KUP!
