Wish me luck!

I am being induced with pit at 7:30am.

Weird, an induced VBAC, I know. But the benefits out weight risks for us since I have GD. (BTW DS#1 was an induced VBAC also.)

*fingers crossed* VBAC is successful and baby Nathan has a safe delivery!

Good luck!

I wish my doc would agree to induce, it makes me so nervous that they are so against it.

LOL...so I am a complete slacker. Sorry I have not updated until now.

Nathan Shea was a successful VBAC

Went into be induced and was 2cm dialted 50% effaced. Pit was slow and steady but did great.

Labor start to finish was 10 hours and I only pushed for 5 minutes But holy moly those were a LONG 5 minutes!!! Nathan was sunny side up and my epi wore off completely! Thank goodness my L&D nurse knew her stuff. She had me up on my hands and knees and Nathan flipped...things felt better after that.

My sweet boy was 7lbs 10oz 21.25in my biggest baby by a pound and a half!

He is a sweet boy and we love love love him to pieces

Good thing the epi wore off! I bet it made getting into the right position a lot easier. I had the same thing with my daughter, the doc told me she was posterior so I got on hands and knees in the bed. I was 6cm when he told me she was posterior, spent 20 mins laboring on hands and knees and she was born 5 minutes after I got on my side! I went from 6 cm to birth in 25 minutes!

Never thought about it that way but you are right! Pushing would have been a lot harder on both of us had he not flipped. (And here I was cursing the anesthesia tech the whole time )
