I don't know much about VBAC's. I was told I have to always have csections after my first ended in a csection. It seems this is due to a combination of 1. Having to have a 'classic csection' (it's a 'T' incision, baby was very stuck so they had to make another cut) and 2. Having Bandl's Ring (the uterus contracts around the baby and wouldn't let him come down).

Sooo, my question is, do you know if you can do a VBAC if you have the classic incision? Would sooo love to do this!

Thanks in advance!

No one knows the true risk of rupture, some say 13%. With that said, the risk may be greater, but the way you react to the risk is the same. Whether you are the less than 1% or one of the 13% you will be treated the same.

I think I need to research the ring thing, it sounds like that may be more of an issue than your scar. There is almost always a provider willing to take on the risks to give mom's the birth they want.

HOw was your labor with him? Was it induce, etc. It seems the Bandl's ring does not always happen a second time.

Sorry, I never replied back to this thread. I ended up having an early loss again, and just wasn't here. Thanks for the advice and links! Appreciate it very much!
