~ The VBAC Companion: The Expectant Mother's Guide to Vaginal Birth After Cesarean
by Diana Korte (Author)[/b]
just to note though - i am currently reading this - it is older. it is from the 1990's when VBACs were being pushed, whereas now it is cesareans being pushed. but when you read this book you will realize why there were so many lawsuits because of FORCED VBACs...either way, no matter what day in age, when doctors try to force something to happen it will always go sour....and it definitely touches greatly on the dangers of induction. a good read, just know it is from a long time ago when things were different, but the basics are the same as ever!
Don't cut me again! looks like a good book.
i also recommend reading NCB books like:
the Doula Book
Lord of Birth
Who's having this baby anyways
I didn't get that impression from The VBAC Companion. I found it very informative and helpful. Silent Knife is even older than that, but was still an amazing read. I think every woman, VBAC or not should read that book. I learned so much from it. It really opened my eyes.
