CLOMID! I have been missing because I was very discouraged after finding out I was innovulatory. But went to the doctors today and left with a script for clomid, Too bad I have to wait till next cycle though eh? I am soo happy I think things will maybe go my way.

Anyone know if there are cases where you still don't ovulate with clomid? what are my chances, I hate to get to excited and have it be a bust.

I've read on many websites that there is a 50% chance of getting pregnant with the help of Clomid. (Not sure if that is accurate or not.) I'm not sure what the percentage is of it actually making you ovulate though.

It definitely worked for me in the ovulation department on the first month. I O'd on CD 19 last month (first month of Clomid.) I am now on CD 16 of my second month using it and am waiting to O.

If Clomid takes care of the underlying problem, and your doctor(s) have thoroughly checked you out and can't find any major problems, Clomid will work. (Does that make any sense to you?)

Take me for example: I don't have any major underlying problems. I was simply not ovulating due to messed up hormones and things. So, the Clomid was all I needed to make my body ovulate.

There are cases where Clomid doesn't help with ovulation, but I think your chances are pretty darn good that it will.

Good luck!!!

LOL, sorry to scare ya, I wish it was a BFP. Hadn't even thought it might look like that.

They think that when my diabetes was undiagnosed and untreated the high sugars shut down my ovaries. They said it is common. Usually getting your sugars down for a while makes them start back up, but since it has been a while they are gonna give me a kickstart. WOOT.

And of course they also had to add in the usual you should lose some weight bit, LOL. Do they think we honestly don't realize?

And just to add insult to injury a friend of mine who got pregnant recently found out it was twins yesterday. Another phone call to let me down easy, LOL. FUn FUn

Good luck with the clomid! I guess whether it helps you ovulate or not depends solely on the dose. I have a friend who was on 50mg and it didn't do anything but 100mg did. Hope that the clomid is all that you need!
