Have any of you gone to yours? My 10th is coming up this summer, and I'm planning on going home for it. I'm kinda nervous about it though. The last time most of those people saw me I was about 80 pounds lighter. I went through a fat phase in junior high, and I was teased so much that I went on a strict diet/exercise program for a long time. I was a size 5 through most of high school, and loved that. Now....well, I'm afraid it'll be just like the first time I was fat! lol
If you did go to your HS reunion, did you find that people were the same, or had them pretty much grown up by that point?
We had a 5 year but I didn't go to it. I will probably go to the 10 year but it won't be until 2010. DH's is in a couple weeks but I am not sure if we're going or not.

I haven't heard of any reunions, guess I have a lazy high school. I am way fatter than I was, but i will go, because i am proud of how i got this way, LOL. (Back problems due to pregnancy with Alexander)
My 10 year would be this year too. I doubt we will have one. We didn't have a 5 year. The guy we elected class president was a bit of a joke, and technically he would be in charge of setting one up. If we have one I will likely go, I only live about an hour away from my high school now. I did get asked to speak at this year's graduation for my high school. My old English teacher called me a few weeks ago to ask if I would (since it would be my ten year). I had to switch my schedule around at work (graduation is on a Thursday night and I normally work the 1pm-8pm shift on Thursdays), but I told her two weeks ago I would do it. Now I have to write a stupid speech, and graduation is in less then 30 days. (May 29)
The main thing I would dread about the reunion would be seeing pictures of all the kids everyone else has. Most people I went to high school with started having kids immediately. I know I have accomplished a lot, and that required me to wait to have kids. I know if I went back I wouldn't change how I did it, but I can't help but be jealous sometimes of those people that didn't make family sacrifices for career and now have their kids.
My 10 year would have been 4 years ago and I didn't hear anything about it. I graduated in Texas but haven't lived there since and my family is not there anymore either so they probably can't find me. I only went to that school my senior year so I would not have gone anyway.
I wouldn't worry about having gained wait. I'm sure you are not the only one.

All of our senior class officials were umm....jokes. We didn't have a 5 year either. Would have been so much easier for me to attend. At that point I was living in the house I lived in during high school! lol Now I'm 1000 miles away and planning to get there for this is a little more involved.
