So our appt with the lawyer was Wed, it was pretty good in the way that the guy seemed positive about what we could do, and now we know exactly how to go about things, but bad that he needs $1500 down and hourly on top of that. And he says time is very very important because once she is in NY for 6 or more months, NY court may decide to take jurisdiction and make us all go out there. (She's been there for four.) So now DH and I are trying to come up with $1500 *sigh*.
DH's dad came over last night (we were discussing our move there at the end of the month, and maybe seeing if he could help out). He tells us that a waitress quit at the resteraunt by him, and I could possibly get a job starting monday so here I am up at 8am getting ready for him to come pick me up. Lol. It will be really good if I get this we would have no problem with a lawyer because DH covers bills and then some with his pay so my pay would be free for whatever. I hope I get it, but if I do, it means I have about 3 days before I start a 40 hour a week job (all my jobs have been part time so far) AND instead of a month to move we have 3 days!
So I dunno, DH and I haven't discussed the TTC aspect but with court and moving and all the money we would need for other things for awhile, we may just be going back to not trying not preventing for a bit.
If that's the case I wanted to tell you all that you have helped so very much and you're all wonderful and I am hoping for BFP's for all of you!!
Hope everything works out the way you want it to! KUP!
