So there's a new TV show coming out called Inconceivable. It will air on NBC on Fridays at 10pmET. It's about, you guessed it, infertility! Can you believe they're FINALLY showing things that deal with what we go through? I am hoping that it will be good and maybe it can get the awareness out about infertility and how scary and serious it can be. Any of you planning on watching it?

Apparently, this show was shown back in 2005, but was canceled after two episdodes. So, are they going to start making it again, or are they only showing episodes that are already made? I know that Ming-Na was in the 2005 shows, and is supposed to be in this one as well. I'm confused.

No, I'm a little afraid that all it will do is sensationalize infertility. I fear it will make us all look like idiotic baby-addicts.

The second episode which aired on September 30th of 2005 dealt with a couple where the wife was secretly taking birth control to try to prevent having children. She had extensive plastic surgery done in her life and feared that her children would be 'ugly' like she was. She would only have a 'perfect' baby and wanted an attractive egg donor so her children would be gorgeous.

We should make our own show that deals with the reality of infertility.

I agree that we should all make a show! I hope that this show will actually show the reality of infertility, and not make it a joke .. Or, something like that. I will give the show a chance, but we'll see ..

I won't be watching it. I'd maybe watch a documentary about infertility... but actually I find it a little offending that they are doing that.
