This is an odd question I'm sure, but DH and I have been doing a lot of very physically demanding work lately, every day for a few weeks. We've been getting our gardens planted, building stone pathways, etc. and it's very physically exhausting. There has been a lot of repetitive heavy lifting (carrying bags of rocks, stone pavers, etc.), and I am so worn-out today, and sore, that walking is a sluggish process.
I know that exercise is good while TTC, and I sure could stand to lose some weight, but is getting extremely physically exhausted, and carrying tons of heavy items okay, or is that a TTC hindrance?
I've just been wondering about that. I've enjoyed the work that we've been doing, and I know that I need to get exercise, but I wasn't sure about doing such physically demanding stuff all of the time.
I think it should be fine too. I have debated each month about my workouts during the 2WW. I typically run pretty hard on the treadmill. From what I read as long as you don't get too overheated and stay hydrated you should be ok.
