I wanted to try to find something natural to use to keep from having to go back to the doctor again to get more Provera. So I went to an herb store last week and they recommended the progesterone cream to help regulate my cycles. Has anyone else ever used it and did it really help?

I personally haven't used it, but I have a friend that did. For almost a year she didn't have a period at all. The doctor's claimed that it was a problem with her blood sugar or something, but nothing they did helped with her cycle. She decided to try the progesterone cream after reading about it.

It started working for her immediately. She used it for something like 2-4 months, and then stopped using it. Her period comes like clock-work now, all on its own, and has for the last 6 months.

I am thinking of doing this to get my PCOS under control until I go back to the RE in Sept. I read about it on this site.

PlasticFork - That would be awsome if it worked for me like that. I myself have only had 1 cycle in a year. I was told that I have low insulin levels and the Dr. gave me meds for that and the Provera, but they never helped me either. I have been using the cream for 6 days now and they said to only use it for 26 days at a time and see if AF comes. So maybe it will work the first time around. Was she also trying to get pg?

tabbymichelle - I hope that if you give it a try that it will work for you also.
