I have been bad about following along with the candidates, I will probably look into them really well as it gets closer to election. I just tell DH (sorry if I offend anyone with this lol) that it can't get any worse!
Honestly....I'm probably voting for Mickey. (As in....Mouse) In my opinion, he would do a better job than any of the others running. I won't get started on that though.
BTW...... I voted one year because I wanted my vote to count in the local elections, and for senate and whatnot. I could not bring myself to vote for either Bush or Kerry though, so I actually did vote Mickey Mouse as a write in candidate. Apparently I wasn't the only one that felt that way. Mickey took 2% of the vote in West Virginia that year! They even announced it on the local news!
I would hate to butt heads with anyone but I am voting for Obama. I just don't like Hilary and I am sorry to anyone who does. It just seems to me we need something different and we already had a Clinton in the white house for 8 years. It would be awesome to have a female president(coming from a bias sex) but when you think about it would other countries take her seriously? Lots of other countries don't see women as a leader and even though it is kind of sexist, it's true. I feel in my heart, at the start Bush did a pretty good job but our economy has slowly started going into a recession and if it keeps up I really feel we're headed for another depression. It's quite sad. I am very hopeful that Obama will do a great job at cleaning up what he's handed.
