I am really curious about the places below and would love to hear from any girls who have lived there.
My main issue with Florida is that I have a huge fear of Hurricanes. Thanks so much and TONS OF HUGS!!!
San Francisco CA
Philadelphia PA / Trenton NJ area
Dover DE (Delaware)
Georgia - near Jacksonville or Tallahassee FL
Las Vegas, Nevada
North Carolina - (near Fayetville and not far from Raleigh NC)
Minot, North Dakota (not far from Bismarck)
Great Falls, Montana
Oklahoma City, OK
Mildenhall or Lakenheath, England (UK)
MINOT!!!! That's where DH was stationed when I met him. It's not far from the Canadian border. I've been on the base many times. It's a nice large base (I make a trek to the Grand Forks AFB monthly and it's tiny compared to Minot). I didn't mind it there. Minot's a quiet town with a low crime rate. You aren't very far from Bismark and Fargo is about 4-5 hour drive from there (if you go through Jamestown). DH actually misses that base. He played on his unit's softball team and loved that. It does get cold, but you get used to it. DH is from Texas, not far from FT Hood. It didn't take him long to get his winter legs. The biggest "storms" are blizzards and I love them because they are free days off for me at work LOL.
I don't have any advice but I wanted to say good luck!!

We'd probably be there still if DH didn't get out of the AF. It was a really easy town to get around. The medical center is good about referring you to the civilian hospital. DH and I were dating when I moved up there and he suffered with bad migraines then. I lived there for a month since DH couldn't move off base and I couldn't afford an apartment alone. He ended up getting out a few months later and moved here.
