Today at work I was asking some questions about the insurance I'm getting and I was a little skeptical about talking about my problems and the reasons for wich I need insurance, When we went to lunch I ate with this girl Jenny, we were talking about the insurance and finally I got the guts to ask her if she new if the fertility treatmes were covered, one thing let to another and she told me her story,
She was TTC for about 9 years, she found a fertility clinic not too far from here about 45 min, she went trough testing and was diagnosed with pcos and she has a thyroid problem, she had 2 IUI's and 1 IVF both unsuccesfull, she said she finally gave up and took a break and what to you now after 9 years 1 m/c, IUI and IVF she got pg she now has 2 beautiful little girls only about 1yr and 4 months apart.
People like this give me a lot of hope, I know the medical procedures like IUI and IVF did not work but she thinks all the fertility meds and injections to help here ovaries and uterus defenetly helped.
I was happy to find her and to be able to ask her all this quesions, so here are the good news under the insurance I will be getting all fertility treatments are covered, you just have to pay deductible and co-pay for meds, the fertility clinic is about 45 min away from where I live and I've been reading about it and they have had some great results, I allready have the number and as soon as I know what my permanent schedule at work will be I'm going to make an appointment
I was on a high when I found out that my insurance will pay. I just have to have the RE code stuff as PCOS or Endo testing. Which won't be a stretch being Endo runs in my family and I've been showing signs of PCOS.
i know what you mean about those stories being ispiring, I remmeber ages ago hearing on the news or paper or something about a women who tried for years to get preg with MA and couldnt, they adopted then fell pregnant natutrally! our bodies are certainly puzzles. hope you get your BFP soon Brenda
