I tried to post this earlier, but I don't think it worked. So, here I go again.
Carmen, how does it feel for it to finally be real?? I am just giddy. It still doesn't feel completely real yet, but when I think about it I just sit around smiling and almost start crying every time (I am not normally a crier.) I go from moments of feeling EXTREMELY happy to moments of complete terror that something will go wrong. I feel a little bipolar at the moment honestly.
I forgot, how long had you been trying? Since January 2007, 13 cycles
Have you and DH discussed any names, or did you already have them picked out? Not really. He mentioned he likes Orien several months ago for a boy. He also kinda wants Christopher in the name as well (I really don't.) For a girl, we got nothing.
Have you bought anything for the baby yet? Not a thing. We looked at walmart last Friday night, but we are still too afraid to buy anything in case something happens. (I am betting my dad has though, but it would be for his house not mine. He even asked my mom if she thinks we will let them take the baby home that first night. When she said no, he said than they would just have to stay here then.)
What did your DH say when he found out? He actually saw the test before I did. He walked into the bathroom ahead of me asking what we were looking for. I said a plus or a minus. As he saw it he made a disappointed aww noise, then handed it to me (he is just mean.) When I looked I said "Holy crap that is a positive." I looked up and he was smiling at me. I remember dancing and hugging after that, but honestly I don't remember what else we said.
