I am sitting her watching this Michael Moore movie "Sicko", and it is making me so sad! DH and I are in MI and it's making me want to move up into Canada rofl. You don't realize some of the disadvantages here until you see them compared to other places! I hope with a new president things will change! It just makes me wonder what I will have to go through with getting things paid for once DH gets insurance through whatever trucking company he joins.

There are pros and cons to it all. I know people in Canada and they SEEK jobs that offer private insurance. The free public insurance you'll have to wait months to see a Dr and that IF you can find one taking new people. My dad's friend is dying and has been for the past 15 years because of their system. He can't work because of his lung disease so he has no choice to take private insurance. He's now at 10% lung compacity and would qualify to be on the transplant list, but because of his age they won't put him on it. He just turned 60.

I just wanted to say that I'm so sorry about your dad's friend. That is just horrible!
