Well I won't be doing the photography for the wedding I mentioned in my last post after all, I am far too upset to think about working. Today our little furbaby Penny went missing. She's a little Jack Russell and I have done nothing but cry. She was last seen at our house around 1pm and DH swears she was inside when he left. I had a migraine so I was taking a nap when he got here and left. I had no idea he even stopped in on his lunch break. I am so heart broken right now and I am PRAYING that the dog catcher picked her up but we have to wait until 8am before we can call to check. If not I am so devastated and am so sad and fear I will never see her again. We have drove the 4 wheeler ALL over looking for her. We even called the local radio stations, one which is a supporter of PetFinder.com and the Scioto County Animal Rescue Shelter and they said they would announce it every hour until we call and tell them we have found her. I am praying that if someone took her that they are kind enough if they hear the announcements to be a good Samaritan and bring her back. She is like my child and I can't see living without her. Our other JRT is missing her like crazy and you can tell it. I am driving myself crazy missing her and I don't know what I will do if she never comes home =(

*UPDATED* It is now 7pm on July 4th and Penny is still missing! =( No luck at the pound this morning. They are closed today and the guard on duty said that he doesn't think they have brought any animals from wheelersburg in in over 2 weeks. I am praying he's wrong and that in the morning she's there safe and sound. Ryan and I have been out on the 4 wheeler all day soaked to the bone and mud covered but I want my baby back! I barely slept a wink and I am so tired and my eyes hurt so bad from crying. I don't know what I am going to do. I feel like my heart has been ripped from me =(

I am so sorry that you can't find her! I know how hard it is to lose a pet like that. My dog, who is also like a baby to me and I've had since he was a puppy, was lost and not even five minutes later, I started bawling. He had escaped from our house when we opened the door, and he didn't have any tags on/collar on, because he had just had a bath. Thankfully, we found him later on, but I didn't know what I was going to do without him! I really hope that you find her, or someone finds her and gives her back to you. She deserves to be in her own home, with you .. Let us know if you hear anything!

So have your found her, or did he just see and and you know where to keep looking now?!?!?! I know that horrible feeling/panic to have them escape and you have no idea where they have gone. I have a bad little Jack Russell too and she is a little houdini dog. I ended up having to install a shock collar fence with my real fence to keep her in. I hope you have her back at home soon.

yes, sorry I didn't clarify it in my post above. I made another post about it. I am just so happy and shaking. She's been giving me kisses non stop and I have never been so relieved. The second I saw her I had a giant weight lifted from me and I got out of the car and yelled for her but she was so scared that she ran. I ran after her and we were able to catch her and then she realized who we were. Boy did she eat!!! Poor baby. I am so very happy and thankful for the man who called me. I tried to offer him something for helping but he refused I definitely will write a letter to the editor our our newspaper thanking this man for his help. She is absolutely priceless to us.
