We had our ultrasound today. All of our measurements looked good. No obvious defects or problems and.....................................
It's A BOY!!!!! DH is beyond excited. I am excited too, a little girl would have been wonderful, but I know how badly he wanted a boy, and I wanted a boy for him. Plus my mom's dad has three daughters and four granddaughters, so I really wanted him to finally have a great-grandson. My computer has been acting up (hard drive is going bad), and DH doesn't have the link to the page I post pictures from where I can get to it easy, so I will have to add the pics from the ultrasound later.

I had a hunch you were having a boy!! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know how you feel you want to give your families a boy... I'm the same way!! My DH's mother has 3 granddaughters and a step grandson. My Father has 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson. My mother has no grandchildren.
Have you chose a name yet?
I MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish you had clued me in, I was sure it was gonna be a girl. LOL Particularly since every time we heard the heart rate it was fast. Even during the ultrasound it was 159.
We don't really have a name yet. DH thinks Blaise is the absolute coolest name in the world. I think it sounds like a dog's name. He is stuck on it though, "unless I find something better." He is no longer looking for other names, it is my job to find a middle or first to go along with Blaise or another name altogether.

Right now we are throwing around Payton Blaise as his name. I don't know how I feel about it. Individually I don't like either name that much. I am worried about the Peyton Manning mix up with the first name, and I have always thought Blaise sounded like a dog name ever since DH started saying how much he loved it. But the more I hear it the more it is growing on me.
I think the two names flow together well and they sound good with our last name (three syllable name that starts with an L.) I even tried yelling all three together (you know for when he gets in trouble) and they sound good like that too. We are still thinking about if we really like it or not. But for now it looks like it might be Payton Blaise L..........

I went to my friends house and we were all discussing names. Me, my sister pauline, pregnant and due the SAME TIME as me, my friend tracy and her husband, and her teenage kids. Every name me or pauline liked her husband would yell like that, it was so funny. He is a big tall black man, and he yells like a police officer through the door, He was so hilarious. The two names we have set in stone sound good though, so we are set if they get in trouble or if they get arrested, LMAO. Genevive, for girl and Julien for a boy, So all set for boy/girl twins, now we need one more of each.
