I was at home sleeping and when I woke up I felt like I was in another world. I couldn't believe it! We live right along the river and there were jets flying up and down that night. I guess it was some sort of a flight training but it terrified me!

A Freshman in Collage.... I woke up and the radio said about the bombings, but the morning show I listened to was saying thing all the time so I thought it was a cruel joke. I ran to a TV and was in shock! Most of my professors either canceled class, we sat stairing at a TV, or talked about it as a class. In the dinning hall they have TVs all over with CNN on always. It was just like mindless zombies in there. Everyone's eyes were on those TVs crying.
I was on an Indian reservation in Arizona. The day before my BFF and I flew there to be w/her DH who was doing a pharmacy rotation. I was woken up by the phone ringing, and it was my Mom screaming at me not to get on a plane. (We had been thinking about going to LA to see Price is Right, but decided not to). She then explained what happened. There was no TV on the res. so we just had to listen to the radio, and later that evening, we went to a laundry mat on the res. and saw what happened.
A junior in college. I woke up at the normal time and turned on the news while I was making breakfast. (I usually watched the news in the morning.) The first plane had just hit the tower. I saw the second plane hit on live television. That's when I screamed and woke up my roommates. Needless to say, all classes were canceled for three days.
