Today I'm CD 12 and went in for a follie check via an U/S to make sure there wasn't too many follies so we don't wind up with sextuplets or anything. Anyway, we have two follies, one on each ovary that may result in ovulating. But we also got a Dx as too why we can't get pregnant, why I don't ovulate, why I had such pains when I was younger, why I have irregular cycles. As well as explaining my facial hair and weight gain.....

I have PCOS. She can't tell how bad it is because of the Clomid, but from the ultrasound picture that she gave me I can count 13 "follies" that are old and now just little cysts. I'm not sure what to think or feel right now. If we don't get our BFP this cycle she's going to up my Clomid to 100mg. My OB/GYN has had 15 miscarriages and she really understands how I feel. She rubbed my arm and said "Be sure to kiss the fertility god on your way out, not that I believe in that, but..." Makes me worried......... *sigh*

I have PCOS too, was diagnosed when I was 14. I actually didn't start having irregular cycles until after I stopped taking clomid. I was on bcp when I was younger to control my levels and it seemed to help the painful cysts. I am glad you have a diagnosis now!

I was just diagnosed a few weeks ago because of the many follies problem. That and low estradiol. I hope she can help you get your BFP soon.

Hopefully now they can figure something out for a treatment more than just the clomid.
