It'd be a lot easier to post here more if the forum had more people who were active. I'm not angry people aren't, in fact I like coming here because I feel like I can keep up. But I feel sad that I'm discriminated against the private board in this section because I don't chronically post stuff just for a number count. I've been TTC #1 for going on three years now and been in JM for quite awhile with nearly 450 posts/replies/whatever, and frankly I don't see any reason why I shouldn't qualify to the private board for TTC 1 year +. But 200 posts in this category alone just for the sake of posting seems asinine to me and I'm sorry, I have to say it out loud. At least set the standards within freakin' reason!

I'm going to stop posting here, it isn't worth the frustration of feeling like I'm only posting to get to a number count. I don't want to do that. It's a waste of your time and mine to just do it for access to a private board.



But whatever, I digress, bad day, and I'm posting this anyways.

Not that this justifies your argument but I just recently got access to that private board and there's not much in there and hasn't been anything new for quite some time now.

Also, I think that if you are regular poster here that if you asked for the password they may bend the rules and give it to you, just a thought.

Sorry if I seemed upset. It just did bother me a bit, and I've been a little grumpy today, not sure particularly why. Knowing it's empty makes me feel better that I'm not 'missing out' but then, it sorta ticks me off that I was denied because I don't post enough, heh. Oh well. Thanks for trying to comfort me, sorry I'm a pain.

I'm sorry you feel that way.. but the majority of boards with private subforums have the same requirements.. it's usually 30 days and 200 posts.

I am sorry if I made you feel singled out but I can't bend the rules for anyone just because that's the Rules of JM and as a cohost I have to follow those rules. I am not willing to lose my position for anything so I am sorry if I made you feel that way I was just doing my job.

We have plenty of other subforums that you could post in to try and get your activity up a little.

This is just a slow board in general. I'm sorry you're frustrated. Although I do echo Kari's point - you are not missing anything by not having access to the private forum. You can see that the last post was made 2 months ago, on Dec 23.

As cohost to another board, I would have done the same thing as Tabby.

I am sorry you feel that this board but if you think about it if every poster felt the same way and didn't post here, this board would be even slower.

I hope you choose to stay and enjoy all the support that this board offers.
