I was trying to talk to DH about going to the dr. and telling him that a friend of mine told me that it sounded like i might have hypothyriodism.. since i have been feeling tired.. having hairloss problems.. excessive weight gain.. and my cycles are getting out of whack.. and when I said anything about the weight gain.. he starts going off on his high horse about how people have weight problems and get fat b/c they eat junk.. and stuff their faces.. and how in other parts of the contry where fast food is not really there for them to eat they are not having problems with weight as much as americans are.. I was trying to explan to him that a lot of people will have drastic weight changes (for example gaining or losing 20 or more lbs in a short amount of time) .. and all he has to say is thats just an excuse people use b/c they are overweight and mocking people saying "oh i have this medical problem that i am getting fat (as he is making hand movements like he's eating)" he has to think he is always right.. and knows more then drs. I am just going to the dr. to find out whats wrong with my body.. and if anything if i do have a thyriod problem then the dr will probably just give me meds to help with my hormones and get my cycle back on track..

Sometimes I just want to knock some sense in my husbands head..lol I am thinking of it.. if it helps me get pregnant then i will not care

I also think that he just doesn't like the idea that something might be wrong.. and he's afraid of showing his feelings.. but I still love him!!

I am sorry that your hubby is being a pain. I think that they all have a tendency to push our buttons sometimes. I hope he comes around!

There is a nice smiley that you could use to show your DH how that made you feel, but JM probably wouldn't allow it lol Let's just say its called 'middle finger' lol. Seriously, his comments were very hurtful, and since you are having weight gain and hair loss, that is different than just going on eating binge. I hope you figure out what is going on soon!
