however if i would be home i would for sure take part in it!! i think its a great idea.. i think stuff like this sould happen more then just once..just like i think recycling should be a must for all states.. its not like its a hard thing or cost a lot of money to do.. just people have to just do it.. i like how it is in cali. where my aunt lives.. you recycle and you get the change back from it.. and the 5-10 cents adds up.. plus it could be something made fun for kids to get involved in too..i know i will try my hardest once we move.. i can get a recycle bin once we live in our new house.. its hard to even do it here in our apt. b/c there is no recycle place close and no recycle in out complex..

When it comes to stuff like conserving energy.. i think every one should pitch in.. (for example.. the little recycle place where my aunt lives is a little place u go and put the bottles in and it counts the pieces.. and gives you the change..)

I agree, it should happen more often! We recycle and you wouldn't believe how much money we get back on soda cans!

My grandpa is a "Junker" and he collects scrap metals of all kinds. He is always telling me how much everything is worth/the current ongoing prices. Last year he made over 10grand from just junking which amazes me.

Here's a website that tells current primary and scrap prices -

WOW!!thats awesome i am always trying to look for ways to make some extra cash.. just to save.. last year we woule save all the change we could get our hands on.. and we ended up with $50 and it was just from the change we found on the grond.. or from breaking a dollar..i just wish we had a recycle center close to here.. but we are moving soon.. and the town we are moving to make people recycle.. i just wish it would be state wide
