So its been over a year now since we decided to TTC. From Oct last year my cycles have been odd, it all started when my period was late, of course i thought i was pregnant, but test and test again said otherwise when af finally arrived i picked myself up and moved on. The following cycle lasted 16 days, i thought my body was trying to get back to normal after the long cycle so though nothing of it, the following cycles were the same, at first i hoped it would correct itself but it didnt, so off to the doctors we went, the doctor automatically thought PCOS and wanted to get a CD21 progesterone test and others taken, On Feb 11th i had 5 vials of blood taken and sent away for analysis. On the Friday my nurse called and said some of the results were back, and the hormone ones were normal, my thyroid one was showing signs of being underactive and said she would send for me in 6 months to get retested and if it was still the same medication would be the next step. She made an appointment with my doctor for me to go and discuss what happens next. The following week we went to see her and she asked dh to get tested and she would refer me onto a specialist for further investigation.
That was 2 weeks ago, today i got a letter from the doctor saying the rest of the blood results were back and i was to make an appointment to go see the doctor. So i called and have an appointment this after noon with her. Im a little confused cause i didnt realise there were more results to come
Im feeling extremely anxious as to what im going to be told, all the what ifs are running through my head, dh is going with me and said we would deal with whatever it was, he thinks is nothing to worry about but i cant help but worry

Why is this so hard

Just back from the doc, she got the last of my blood work back, it wasnt good news, for the most part my hormones are good except i have high levels of testosterone which do indicate pcos The doctor is referring me onto to see a specialist and to have a scan of my overies done.
I am absoloutly gutted to make matters worse, the docotrs surgery was full of pregnant women and babies, must have been the day for the midwife, and on top of that there was a girl there with her mum, she was in her school uniform, no more that 14 and was heavily pregnant

I just want to curl up and cry
