Well, after 6 failed cycles of Clomid (3 of those cycles with trigger and IUI), I had a consultation with my RE this morning to see what the next step is. She is recommending a lap. I don't think I have endo, but she said she wants to rule that out. The only symptom I have is that I cramp for about a week before AF shows, but nothing else. But, she said she needed to do this because the next step she would recommend is injectables and if I have endo, injectables are not as effective. So, I waiting for my RE's office to call me and schedule the surgery.
I'm so nervous about this and would love to hear about your experiences with having this done, if any of you have had this done!
I had mine done the first week of Feb.; it was fairly painless... just depends how you react to the anesthesia on how long you are up and running... For me, I got tired really easy for 3 weeks after surgery but was not in that much pain from the actual surgery.
I was like you had no symptoms but wanted to rule out endo... turned out I had a few pholyps.
