First of all - my doctor is lovely - he is one of the nicest men i've ever met! We had a chat with him about my periods, how often we do the deed, Tim's SA etc. He said Tim's results were really low and thats probably the problem but not to worry as he will sort us out. Tim has to do another normal SA and then one after exercise. I did a urine sample to test for chlamydia, i will have blood taken on CD21 and then again on CD2 and something to do with rhubella - i dont think it was an injection as ive had that but maybe a test to see if im immune. He did an internal scan (very weird feeling!) and said i have a textbook uterus and that ovulation was obvious - im gearing up to ovulate now and I have some nice sized follicles. He did say i had a few cysts so has said i have a mild case of PCOS but nothing to worry about. He has also sceduled me for a HSG where they will check my tubes. He wants to do this now so that it doesnt hold anything up later. He wants Tim to try a few things in order to produce some healthier sperm and then we will go from there. He said we will probably end up trying IVF with ICSI's but in order to do this he wants me to loose a stone. I knew he would tell me that and I have been trying. All he wants me to do is count calories, he said this was the best way to loose weight and to do 3x30 mins of aerobic exercise a week. I have to eat 1800 calories a day. Overall i was really happy with everything and came away feeling really confident about things. Hopefully it will work!
Sorry its a long intro
