when people complain about their babies? Whether it's waking, sleeping, eating, crying, etc... I just sit and listen, but every time I tell myself to remember this and when my baby does come, to cherish every moment and be grateful even for the moments that are hard. I wish I could just tell people to stop complaining!

How do you guys respond?

i try and ignore it, but i do find it horribly annoying!!

I usually sit there quietly, then when I get home I jump on JM to vent.

I really want to say "At least you have a healthy child in your arms" and then walk away.

I do the same as Kim.. but them complaining about thier babies.. dosent hit me as hard as pregnant women complaining about thier pregnancy... maybe since I still have a month to what would of been my last EDD (my first was last month, and havent been around any babies)...

Well, for the most part - I just think people are stupid.. and either incapable of actualy dealing with ANYTHING period, or their children are driving them crazy because they don't know how to deal with them correctly.

Don't get me wrong, sometimes mine will do things that make me upset.. like, find a pen and color on my walls only to come show me what she did, HAHA.. but.. when they were babies.. like, little babies, I never got mad or annoyed with them for crying for food, changing, etc. I just took care of them and they grow independent right in front of you before you know what happened.

I guess.. its different for me. I HAVE kids, but for whatever reason, I can't seem to have MORE kids...

yeh.... or when SIL walks passed you with healthy kid #4 and says 'i love you soooo much' to the baby and then looks at you and smiles.....grrrrrrrr

I can't stand it!!! Absolutely drives me nuts! I really cant stand when pregnant women complain as if they are the only woman who has ever been pregnant and it is sooo bad! I really feel like saying soooo much but i usually just sit there fussing them out in my head LOL!
I also agree with IMA, it is hard to see or hear people say things like that because you want to believe they dont mean to throw it in our face but somehow it seems like they are. My sister does it sometimes and I dont think she realizes what she is doing to me, but I feel like saying dont look at me while you are saying "i love my girls" or right after you said it because I would do anything to be sitting there loving on my children saying that very thing and you know it! But then I think well surely she didnt mean to hurt me and she was just stating the obvious and being a mom.
Infertility sucks and im sooooo tired of waiting.
