I have been trying to conceive for some time now and have not been successful.
Can anyone tell me how they conceive without a Dr. after trying awhile?
What worked or did not work?
What shouldn't I do or should do?

I have been ttc for 14 months.. I have concieved 3 times... all have ended in m/c my last m/c I had to have a d/e. It took seven months to concieve this last time. The only thing I did different was use pre-seed. I have temped and charted, used OPK's, and folic acid. I will be starting blood work..... to see why I continue to m/c.

Well, so far nothing has worked for me, yet. Some basic tips:
- eat healthy
- lose extra weight
- avoid stress
- use OPKs or a fertility monitor to time your BD'ing
You can also try fertility massage or acupuncture.

Good luck.

I'm sorry, but I'm not understanding some things. What is pre-seed? And what is OPK?

I believe pre-seed is something to you take to increase your CM (cervical mucus), OPK is ovulation predictor kit. Hope this helps!

Pre-Seed is a sperm-friendly lubricant that mimics your natural CM. DH and I love it, and use it even when not TTC. OPKs are sticks (similar to pregnancy tests) that tell you when you are ovulating, so you can time things better.

If you haven't already done so, read "Take Charge of Your Fertility." It will teach you how to read the signals your body is giving you and when you're done you'll know everything you need to TTC.
