We have been TTC for 1 year. My doctor prescribed metformin and I have been taking it for three months, with no success. I am charting my bbt and during two of the months, my cycle has been extended about 4-5 days past the average 29 days of my cycles before taking metformin. Any thoughts or words of wisdom? The two months with longer cycles had me thinking I was late, so I tested and got the BFN. I'm trying to be optimistic, but admit I'm disappointed. My doctor wanted me to try three months of met, and if no success to combine it with Clomid.
