We saw a Dr technically two years later...year one we were not trying, not protecting. Year two...we were trying and trying hard...temping and all that crud...about mid way through the 2nd year we started to see the Dr.
We've used Clomid and a trigger so far.
We were diagnosed with Male Factor Infertility and Cervical Stenosis for me.
***A HUGE thanks to marriedc for the awesome siggy!***
I have been to the Dr, I have had and HSG, the next step is a post coital test and hopefully bloodwork. DH has had an SA and things came back good. I haven't started any meds and so not have diagnosis.
I have. No diagnosis. Every test they have done had been fine. We still need to do a post coital though. Not sure when we will do that. My RE is about an hour and 20 minutes away so to do the test we either have to go up and get a hotel or else have sex in the office (so not happening even though they do have a room for it... lol) We tried Clomid for 6 months with no success. Once we do the post coital we are going to try another med. I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head, but it's similar to clomid.
We started seeing a doctor this time last year and found out that Dh has a low sperm count. According to our doctor the only option is IVF. As soon as AF arrives I have to ring the hospital for some blood tests and an internal scan to see how my body will react to the IVF. After that we should be on the way to starting the process.
Started TTC in June 2006. Have undergone 5 IUIs (with injectables). I just started the herbs this month. If we don't have any success with the herbs alone, we will do some more IUIs December/January timeframe.
Im getting really nervous about it now Cat. We also have an appointment with a geneticist at St Marys about Dh's extra chromosome. Our doc thinks its wont affect the IVF and everything I've read about it say the same but they want us to see an expert. The genetics appointment is a week tomorrow and im predicted AF will be here around that date so my other appointment should be the same week.
Are you on the waiting list for Leeds? I read on another forum about someone who only waited 3 months for initial tests at Leeds and then another 3 months for her nurse consultation.
seen a DR about TTC for so long?? we are with a specialist
What medications are you taking??nothing yet, doing an IUI and then embarking on IVF next month if need be
what diagnosis did they give you?? unicornuate uterus (so one tube not connected), hostile cervical mucus, getting over the hill : )

I have PCOS and very stupid periods
I did 7 months of clomid last time i was ttc and then went on the waiting list for IVF
