I just came back from the GYN who put me on clomid....We've been trying for around 18mths now to conceive a 2nd baby. I have endometr. and have previously had an ectopic which left one of my tubes damaged severly. They're hoping the clomid will stimulate my one good ovary and allow me a better chance of conceiving. I have a son who is going to be 2 in February, which is unbelievable we concieved him naturally. Even my dr was amazed. Thank God for miracles right. So, in search of support I found this board. I hate there are others dealing w/this, but grateful to be able to talk w/others that understand the roller coaster. Here's to hoping none of us are on here for much longer!!! Is anyone currently on clomid? what can i expect with it?

Hi there! I did 4 cycles of Clomid with IUI and the worst thing for me was the hot flashes but I also had a headache or two (a lot of women have a HARD time with bad headaches...) and I was uber emotional. I found it helpful to take my pills between dinner and bed and I was able to sleep through a good bit of the side effects. I responded wonderfully to clomid. I hope you do too! Oh and I'm Coley (28) and DH is Matt (32) and we've been TTC our first for over two years.

Welcome! I don't have any experience with clomid yet. Hopefully you get your BFP soon!

Welcome!

I'm on clomid now. I've taken it for 3 cycles now and my first cycle I had horrible headaches...although I'm not sure if it was from the clomid or the estrogen they also put me on.

Good luck!!

Hi and welcome to the board.
I hope the Clomid works for you and you only need one round for it.

I am Emma (22), Married to Gary (25) we have a 3 year old daughter called Mia.

My Dr was also amazed at how I conceived my daughter naturally too (I was on BCP, then when we started TTC#2 we found out i had PCOS (PolyCycstic Ovary Syndrome) and my DH's sperm was not that good either!

I should hopefully start taking clomid it in February when I go back to my Dr.

i'm amy (31) and dh is francesco (28) and we've been TTC our first since july of 09. we are supposed to do an IUI with injectables but we're having a hard time working it out with our schedules. the girls are great here, you'll see!

p.s. the TTC with MA (medical assistance) board might be helpful for you, too.
