we were supposed to have an IUI this cycle but because of the timing of my trip back to US i missed the start date for my injections. next cycle we're going on a road trip to germany to visit my brother and his family (and my new nephew!) so i don't think we'll be doing an IUI that cycle either.

quite a few months back i had bought a clearblue fertility monitor but because i was having hysteroscopies done (three months in a row! ) we couldn't TTC (so i didn't bother using it). this is my first cycle of using the fertility monitor (i bought it after a girl from JM had been trying for months and months and got her BFP the first cycle after using it! ).

anyway, the first few days of testing (you start testing on CD6) i had low fertility and then i started having medium fertility and it still hasn't gone up to peak fertility! usually by now i've had a + OPK so i'm a little confused.

has anyone else ever used one? any tips or hints? i'm thinking that maybe the first cycle it might be adjusting to my cycle? hmmmmmmmm.

I don't have one, but want to get one. I figure after a year and a half of not having one, maybe that's what I need to get a bfp. I'm not too familiar with them though...I didn't know if you could buy them used or not.

I hope it works for you!!

i actually bought mine new (sorry, i now realize that my wording before was confusing )... but you can buy one used because you can reset the monitor (it explains how to do it in the directions). i figured it couldn't hurt to try it and i was inspired by another JM lady who got her long awaited BFP her very first month using it.

i'm just wondering where my peak reading is? i've always gotten +OPKs on CB digis so i'm not really sure what's going on. in defense of the monitor, i really haven't seen EWCM yet this cycle so maybe i'm going to O late?
