I was going over my recent failed IUI and I was wondering if its possible to ovulate late even after getting the trigger shot?

I got the shot on a Thurs.....IUI the next day on Friday and then we tried on our own on Saturday. Exactly what the doc recommended.

I felt twinges in my ovaries around Monday/Tues/Wed? So I thought that was odd? It just dawned on me that this is what it could maybe have been....of course if that's possible.

I got through Day 2 on 100mg clomid and I am not going insane yet! Last round was a doosey!!! Hope this time it will just be an easier ride since my body has already done it once

Any thoughts on this all ??? Not possible???

Going to call my doc on Monday and ask.

Thanks!!!!!

I honestly have no idea. I thought that with the trigger shot that it would make you ovulate within 24-48 hours. I would love to hear what your doctor has to say as my first IUI didn't work either.
I have a follow up appointment on Wednesday morning and I plan to ask then as well. Plus, I want more details as to how many follies did I have ready and how many little swimmers were able to be used after the wash. Good luck and keep us posted!

I'm sure its possible but not likely. I always O'd right on time with my trigger. I feel twinges in my ovaries all throughout my cycle. Maybe its just that you are so in tune with your body right now that you are just feeling the twinges more now than usual? What did the doc say?!?

Tomorrow is my follie check!! Hoping for IUI on Tuesday!!!!

Doc is going to do some blood work as well on Monday to make sure all my levels are ok! Maybe check my thyroid as well..

He says there really is no reason he can see keeping us from getting preg.

Stay Tuned!
