WOW, two babies.........
Thanks! I was on a two lane road(one for each way) and it was school time, so 20mph speed limit. Back story -- Hubby is a MP and constantly hounds me to follow speed limits, complete stops, wearing my seat belt properly. So believe me when I say I follow the road rules!! Anyway, I was going 20 down this road and there's a few side streets that have stop signs. Well, since it's school traffic, most people will try and dash out from the side streets to make it across traffic in order to get into the traffic line, which this High schooler did, but didn't see me. So before I could think or anything I smashed into his little compact. I have a huge SUV, so I felt the impact but my car wasn't totaled. I was so scared I was going to kill him.
Immedietly his sister got out the car and was screaming at him i told you to stop!! Why didn't you listen!! I told you to stop!!! And I was just shocked. A few other high school boys pulled over and helped me call 911 and tried to see if I was okay, but I panicked. I knew it wasn't my fault and I knew everyone was okay but frankly, it scared the poop out of me!! EMS got there fast along with the cops and they fined/cited him, since he was driving recklessly. Thankfully everyone walked away but I ended up going to the ER. I busted my knee since I'm so short into the dash and my shin is bruised. I have bruises and cuts from my seat belt and am SORE!!! Haven't been to work yet this week and I'm nervous about going. I work in an infant room and I don't know if I can lift the babies or not.
The only thing going for me is if I am preggo (two more days will tell, but it's looking like a BFN!) this little bean will for sure be a miracle!!
Thanks!! Me too! And I'm glad the boy is okay too. I think it would be a wreck knowing I hurt him, even if it wasn't my fault!! Thanks! I think this is the one time I WANT AF to start because I just want to move onto my next cycle!
This was my second time seeing it...it was still amazing! I love this play! And we were 8 rows from the stage last night. It was like seeing it for the first time as I was able to see all the detail in the costume's better. Popular is a great tune. I of course also love Defying Gravity. Such a great song...a great moment in the play really.
***A HUGE thanks to marriedc for the awesome siggy!***
