Update on Me

Hey Ladies!

I haven't been on here as much lately as we have been going through our first IVF cycle. I just wanted to give you guys a brief update as you all have been so supportive through all of this!

Just yesterday I had my egg retrieval and they got 18 eggies! Of those 18 only 16 were mature and of those 16.....13 of them fertilized!

I am now in wait mode to get a call on Monday with a report and Thursday with a report. Typically, we would be doing a transfer on Wednesday; however, my estrogen shot up really high last week and my doctor is concerned with ovarian hyperstimulation.

Boooooo on my body for not cooperating yet again! Sooooo....instead of transferring any embryos, they will freeze all of them and we will transfer when my ovaries have gone back to their normal size and it is safer for me.

So that is pretty much all for now! I will keep you updated as to when we transfer, but that may not be until September.

Wow at least you have a lot of fertilized ones! That is great!

Thanks so much ladies!

Got my fertility report today and it's still lucky 13!!!!! They are all still hanging in there! I was told that from now until the freezing on Thursday it is very common to lose some. But, one can hope, right?!?!
