Just a quick question from anybody who has used Preseed, any suggestions? I just bought it yesterday and am waiting until I am closer to ovulating to start using it, but the instructions had something about sterilizing it, and it didn't make any sense to me!! Anyways, I'm just looking for some advice! Thank you!

*Lurking* I just started it this cycle. Essentially all that I did was use the applicator which basically acts like a tampon inserter would and I used about up to the 2 line and you insert it up as close to your cervix as you can. I did it while laying down. You can also apply it externally without the applicator.

**lurking** I used to frequent this board and on cycle 19 we finally tried preseed for the first time....that was the cycle we finally got pregnant! I am not saying that it is a miracle worker- but it did work for us that month. I used it when BDing the 2 days before, the day of, and the day after ovulation.

I think by "sterile" they mean to use only the packaged applicators so that you are not introducing any bacteria inside of you (and to only use them once then throw away). I filled it to the 2 each time- which seemed like a lot, but I figured it couldn't hurt. Good luck!!

**I also wanted to say hello to all you other fabulous ladies!!!! I lurk this board every day and cannot wait for all of you to be posting in the DDCs!!!**

I agree with MommyMir (HI!!!) about sterile being using one of the packaged applicators. I used between the 2 and the 3 mark when I use pre-seed. It def is a lot...DH has asked that we cut down but I'm always one for over doing things, lol. Good luck!!!

I dont want to be Debbie Downer but I used it this month and af just showed. So it didnt do the trick for us. BUT I also thought I o-ed earlier than I did so when I actually did O, we had only 1 BD day and it was 2 or 3 days before O.. Sooo. Good luck for you this cycle; many many people have gotten BFP first time using it! FX'ed for you!

Bryan and Nina: I hope you get your BFP soon, I hate when AF shows.........I am starting to chart my temperature and also thinking of using OPK's this month...we've been NTNP for a couple of years and finally this month decided to actually do all that we could to try to conceive.

Thats great, Meggie!! Thanks and I hope you get your bfp soon, too! I'm using the clearblue fert monitor this month; hopefully that will help, on top of charting and using preseed again!

I've been seeing a lot about the fertility monitor.....i think i will be looking in to one of those soon if i can't get pregnant soon! They seem to be working for a lot of people, is this your first month using one? Ah, I also started charting.....not going so well though!
