I took the depo provera shot 1 time, til i read up on it more, i didnt go for my next shot.

And since then its been 2 years since the day i took that shot and i still cant seem to get pregnant.

I recently started going by my fertile days, i'm hoping that will help.

I already have a 5 year old daughter , but not with the father anymore.

im married and been trying to conceive, i know the shot affects people differntly. but the company told me it lasts as long as 18months at the most.

I really just want advice on getting pregnant anything that would help.

Hi there. I'm sorry you are having a hard time TTC. I personally have no advice on how to get PG as I've been trying with my husband for 3 years (6 if you count the time I spent trying with my first husband) so I can't offer advice but I can offer support and a hug! I hope someone has some answers for you. I think its a good thing that you are starting to get to know your fertile days. Temping is a great way to do that! So are OPK's! I hope your stay here is short!

I'm in the same boat. Have an almost 3yr old. Took 1 depo shot in April '09, never went for next dose in July '09. Started TTC in August '09 (AF returned in Oct). Got pg twice (m/c's Oct '10 and Feb '11). And now, nada. It's been 2yrs of hell. I just want this over with.

I would blame Depo for this, but I had 2 m/c's before my son (well 4 if you count the twins with an ex back in 2003)... so yeah. Sorry I'm no help, but I just wanted to let you know, you are not alone here *hugs*

I would suggest seeing your dr, and trying OPKs to pin point your O day. Good luck! We've been trying for over 14 months now for our second.
