Two weeks ago went in for u/s had 3 follicles...was told they were all to big and probably would not ovulate. This was my 6 month on 150 mg of Clomid. Went home and had sex anyway...just in case..
Period started and didnt think anything of it.. Started my 7th and FINAL month of Clomid. Have an appt with Infertilty Specialist on June 20th.
This morning I wake up..( took my last pill of clomid last night) .put a stick in my fertitily monitor and I HAVE A PEAK! WHAT? i had a OPK in the house, its positive too...I know its probably from the clomid but the monitor hasnt gotten a PEAK until day 17 or 18 since Ive been taking Clomid all 6 months.
I am so confused...I have a friend who encourages me to take a pregnancy test...dont know why but i did and guess what
ITS POSITIVE...its a digital test and its POSITIVE!!
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?
Can someone please explain? Is it possible that I did Ovulate at least 1 of those folicles and it fertilized , I am PG and then the others caused my period? or is that just my wishful thinking?
Yes, it is very possible that you ovulated and that the "period" you had was implantation bleeding or other bleeding and not an actual period. You haven't mentioned taking any hormones that would cause a false positive test, so I'm guessing you are knocked up
Definitely call your doc (if you haven't already) and ask for betas (blood tests to confirm pregnancy) asap so you have some definite answers. In the meantime...congrats!!
