I am new here, I can post an introduction after this... but right now, I am looking for insight or advice from Clomid/Provera people. I posted this on another forum and got NO support, so I decided to find a new chain of women, experiencing issues similar to mine...

Today is CD25. My cycle started with the help of Provera. I took my Clomid CD7-11. We followed the BD schedule, and everything. The last 2 days, I have had slight nausea, I have been really tired, and the biggest one, I have been cramping. When I stand up, I cramp, when I sit down, I cramp, and after I pee, I get cramps. No bleeding, and it doesn't really feel like menstrual cramps. It feel like a tight muscle when you try and stretch it. I had an MRI done today for my knee (an injury from last month...) and before the MRI, I had to take a lab pregnancy test (urine), and it came back negative. :-( So now I don't know what to do. We are between OB/GYN's right now, waiting on the referral from my doc. I am wondering if I need to get in to see my regular doc for this or not?

I remember when I conceived my daughter (now almost 3), I had cramping, but it was more intense and lasted only a day, then went to the ER and found out I was pregnant, along with fluid in my belly from a few cysts that had ruptured.... so this is new for me. And this is my first round of Clomid since I got pregnant with her.

Hope this makes sense?

I am a rambler.

I too just did my first round of Clomid. I have also noticed a lot of random cramping. Sometimes it feels like period cramps and other times it feels like ovulation cramps. I think it's normal after doing Clomid.

This board is pretty quite. I post of Trying to Conceive Your First. Those ladies always respond and there's a lot of topics on there!

Good luck!

Hi there and welcome

I'm curious what kind of test the doctor did for pregnancy at the mri? If it was a normal urine that wasn't very sensitive, seems like it could be too early for a pos. I would test again in a few days.

Also, I would call your OB's office and ask for a nurse and tell her about it. They are usually very knowledgable and I never have a problem talking to one at my ob's office.

I'm taking the clomid and I have to say i'm having weird cramping and bloating too. Along with crying twice today. Good luck to you!!!

Oh - another great board with experienced ladies - TTC with medical assistance. There is quite a few over there that have been on and off clomid!

Cramps can be from your ovaries still being stimulated from the clomid. I have not had that with clomid but I have with Stims shots. If it gets bad go to ER. If it isn't to bad see if it goes away within a cycle. When I was over stimulated it took two months for the twinges and cramps to go away.
Good luck. Hop over to TTC medical assistance board. Might get more help there as well.
