We do get tornadoes, and I am getting better. I used to be terrified of thunderstorms. Now, it's only REALLY bad storms that scare me.

I am also scared of the really bad thunderstorms, esp if DH isn't home. We don't get tornadoes here---we got one five hours away 10 years ago, it killed 12 people. We had a tiny one go through the city here three summers ago, it turned over a few cars, spit hail, and ripped a deck off a house--very tiny compared to the big ones some of you get!

I love thunderstorms!! I like to sit by the window and watch the lightning. My mom used to always freak on me because I would try to go outside and watch.
We've never had any tornados in my town. There was one about 10 years ago in the city about 1/2 hour from here but that's it.

If storms get too bad and start making me really nervous I grab my camera and start trying to get good shots of the lightning. I love photography and when I am behind the camera I forget to worry about how bad the storm is because I am so focused on trying to get the shot. lol
