Do/did you use baby detergent? If you aren't know, how old was your baby when you stopped?

Never used it! It was so expensive- my mother bought one bottle and after that it was right back to the cheap stuff. I am constantly reading articles in scientific journals that say we are herding our kids towards overly sterile environments that will eventually lead to a dangerous inability for their bodies to handle germs. IMO, bring on the pets, normal detergent and dirt!! (Unless of course your child is specifically allergic to something) OR maybe I should just wash the dogs and dust the house!!!

With DD I didn't I just used the regular detergent. With DS he was allergic to just about everything I started using dreft but it's expensive so I started using the ALL the white bottle I stopped using it after he turned 2 and am back to regular detergent.

I used Dreft until my oldest was 5 and my youngest was 2. I didn't want to take any chances though because I am allergic to so many detergents. Otherwise I just would have used normal detergent the whole time.

With both I used Dreft until they were about a year old. They each had sensitive skin and it was around a year that it stopped bothering them.
