We watch some, though very few. I probably won't let the kids watch rated R movies until they're 17 or so, but it'll depend a lot on the movie. Some movies are R because of violence, some because of intimate scenes, some because of a combination or very, very nasty language. Based on the movie and their maturity at the time I think it'll have to be on a movie by movie basis. I know that my dad let me watch R movies when I was really young and looking back on it I think it can be added to the incredibly long list of bad decisions he made. They weren't something that I could handle and I have had nightmares about being killed for over ten years. I really doubt that early exposure to mutilation on rated R movies had absolutely nothing to do with it.
