Do you prefer to see a male doctor or female?

It depends on the doctor. If it's an OB then I expect a female or I leave. If it's something like when I needed my wrist x-rayed then I'll go either way.

I prefer females, but living in a small town, it's not easy to find one in the specialty you need. I have a male dentist, a male endocrinologist, and a male OBGYN (with a female midwife that I usually see). My DH is an internist, which saves me many doc trips. He also like me to always see the best available (regardless of male/female).

I prefer female any time it's anything to to with female stuff. I have no idea weather my new doctor is going to be a man or a woman though, and I am kind of nervous about that. I have had male doctors before, but I just prefer females.

I almost always end up with male drs. But as long as they help me and don't try to change my mind I don't have a preference.

I see male doctors, I'd like to see a female but we don't have many to choose from, and in this town if you already have a doctor nobody else will take you. Our two obgyn clinics have three men at one (the one I go to), and the other clinic has one female obgyn and she only does call and referrals, no regular pts

I don't really care either way. All the dr's that I go to are male.
