Hi there
I am new to this site. My name is Tina and I am 33 years old. I often use the name "JASMAK" as my nickname on computer-related things. It is the first three letters of my son's name (Jasper, 5 years) and the first three letters of my daughter's name (Makena, 3 years).

I am TTC baby #3. I have been trying since Dec. 2006, officially. Unofficially, we have been TTC since my daughter's birth, Jan. 2005. I have had 2 m/c since TTC #3. I lost one Aug. 2007, and then lost another Dec. 2007. I have had some testing done, including an HSG (clear). I see my OB/GYN on the 21st of this month. The visit was supposed to be for a endometrial biopsy, but the dates won't work (supposed to be during the last few days of the cycle), but, I am going to try and keep the appointment as I think I may have discovered a problem on my own, since last seeing the OB. I have been using OPK's, and I have discovered that I ovulate about 6-9 days before AF is due, which could possibly indicate a Short Luteal Phase. Hopefully, the OB takes my findings seriously and we get the ball rolling somehow, since the last 6 cycles since my HSG...nothing.

Neways...that was ALOT of information. I am hoping that I can find some friendship here, with other's who are going through the same things as me. It is hard for alot of my friend's to understand, as I have two children. Why go through all this for another? Well, because I have always wanted three, and I am not complete...our family is not complete.

Welcome! I know how you feel about your family not being complete, that's the way I feel too! We also want 3! Our 1st came easily, 2nd time around it took 4 years to get pregnant and we've been TTC since he was born (knowing how long it might take) and he's 2 now. I hope your appt goes well and your doctor takes your findings seriously! BE PUSHY! I've learned that's the only way to get what you want is to force them to look further into it! GOODLUCK!

It's always nice to see new faces. Have you charted at all? Sometimes doctors take it more seriously if you have a chart to show them so they can see that thermal shift that confirms ovulation. If not just make sure to be adamant that they come up with a plan to lengthen your luteal phase. That really could be your problem and it is usually easily remedied. I hope that your appointment goes well and you have a BFP to show us soon!

Welcome to the group. I agree with the PP who said if you haven't already you might want to start charting. Doctors do tend to take those more seriously than OPK's ( because the OPK doesn't mean you did O. It means you attempted to O.) Good luck with the doctor. I hope you get some answers soon.
