Does/did your DH get up at night with baby?

When my kids were babies, DH got up with them a few times each. It wasn't very often, but he did it when I most needed it.

Not really unless they were sick then he would help out so I could get some rest.

My husband is a late-nighter, goes to bed 1-2am and gets up at 6, I don't know how he functions!. So as long as he was up he'd help but I would never wake him to take care of the boys when they were little. He would get up with them and let me sleep though if I was sick; I got lots of infections after both kids - UTI's, breast, you name it I had it, blah!

no. I told him to sleep as he couldnt breastfeed

Well, since we haven't had a baby yet, and my kids were sleeping through the night by the time we got together, I don't know for sure. We babysat his nephew once and he did get up in the middle of the night so I could grab a nap that night.

He surely does when they have bad nights.
